Some thoughts

Bob Schneider - Come With Me Tonight
  • It's getting friggin' hot outside. The other day my temperature gauge on my truck said 102. Yikes.

  • People are nuts. I was driving home from school today and wasn't paying too terribly much attention to the person in front of me. Apparently I was following her too closely, because she was looking back at me in her rearview and my guess is she was saying not so nice things about yours truly. Not wanting to deal with a nut, I decided to get over and pass her. Coming up beside her, she looks over and gives me the finger and I see her baby in the front seat, so that's probably why. I try to get back over, but now she feels the need to increase speed to 45 on a 30 mph street so I can't. Good work, mom. Your baby will be through that windshield in no time.

  • Political science is a useless class. Don't get me wrong, you'll see me complain about classes from time to time like I did with BCIS, but at least that teaches 'useful' skills that some people may need. At no point in my life am I going to need to know, in detail, what our government does. My ability to sway the workings of the government begin and end with my right to vote. End of story...gimme back my money.

  • The All-Star game was fun. And not just because I saw it in HD, which really was amazing. I got a chance to see everyone play that I wanted to see play, and the game ended up being fairly close. I really thought it was in poor taste that everyone not only boo'd Kenny Rogers, but then they boo'd him everytime he didn't throw a strike! The guy's a quiet, reserved guy who had someone in his face at the wrong moment, and didn't restrain himself. He apologized for it, and had the balls to show up in front of everyone and throw in the game at 40 years old. He's been playing for 16 years, and makes one mistake and you'd think he murders babies from people's reactions. Maybe I'll just start boo'ing people whenever they f up. I'm sure that'd go over well.

  • Hockey is almost back! Now I'll have something to watch once baseball's over. And that's all there is...
