Back to our show

Batman Begins - Original Soundtrack

It's been a while since I've updated, and chu's putting me to shame. It's been a long few weeks. My TV was definitely dead, so I went out and got a new one. Not quite as big as the old one, but still pretty good, I think. It's nice being able to watch shows in HD, and I can't wait to see the All-Star game in HD. I'll be able to see almost 2x as many people behind home plate on their cell phones. Awesome.

So I thought I had a friend that moved down here from Lubbock to go to school at North Texas, but apparently we're not as good of friends as I thought we were. Guess I'll see her once in a while during a class I have with her in the Fall...shrug. It always peaves me when someone starts acting differently towards you, and then when you call them on it, they seem surprised. Not that I've done that yet, but I know that's what her reaction will be in the Fall as I give her the cold shoulder for wasting a summer where we could've hung out together.

I just failed my 2nd of 3 accounting exams. I don't know what it is about accounting, but I just don't get it. Granted I could probably put a little more effort into it, but I've never studied for anything for more than about an hour in my life. Imagine my surprise today when I saw that I got 60 out of 100 on something I studied for 7 hours on. Barring some miracle Friday, or an act of leniency by the instructor on my final grade, this will be a repeat in the Spring.

I made it out to the movie theater this past weekend, and took in War of the Worlds. I'd write a 1MR on it, but I honestly don't think it's worth the effort. It was ok for a summer flick and all, but I can't imagine it's a movie I'll ever watch again of my own free will. I think the recently rented Team America falls in that same category, except it was probably one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

I'll try to update more often. Maybe I'll get a little bit more personal and create some drama since this is a pretty boring summer so far...
